  I didn't find Andrea until late in the divorce process, but her input and recommendations were priceless. She helped me negotiate an agreement to anticipate the needs of my children and make sure they were taken care of ahead of time. So, instead of fighting over who pays what in 10 years when expenses will be very different, that is all worked out. She also found things in our tax returns I never could. My attorney did a fantastic job, but he is not a CPA nor a divorced mother of 3 children. She will work with your attorney or mediator to make sure all the bases are covered and you can rest easy. Between mortgage laws, tax laws, and what changes are on the way, you need a CPA/CDFA helping to make sure everything is correct and properly anticipated. Even the best attorney can't keep up with all that is changing and is not a CPA nor a tax law expert.

  Andrea was AMAZINGLY helpful when I was going through my divorce! I can not express how truly grateful I did not have to go through it alone. My ex-husband could run numbers around me and I was always at a disadvantage because of it. The added stress of facing such important financial decisions while trying to cope with the loss of a marriage and all that entails was, frankly, crippling. I needed advice from someone I felt I could trust, and who could help me extract the information my lawyer needed from the jumbled mess I was left with. Her empathy for what I was going through and ability to explain daunting finacial matters enabled me to keep going in the process feeling empowered with knowledge instead of feeling taken advantage of. I believe every woman who, like myself, is not especially a "numbers" person would benefit greatly from the assistance she offers.
